Irina Grcheva

Irina is responsible for project management of the TOD-IS-RUR project. She is an engineer-architect and urban designer, who is currently enrolled as a doctoral candidate at the University of Antwerp, Department of History. Her research investigates how socio-political power relations influenced the design of ecological transboundary infrastructure throughout history.

Irina holds a Master in Architecture (UACS, Skopje) and a Master in Human Settlements (KU Leuven). Previous to joining TOD-IS-RUR she worked as a designer and project developer at Archipelago Architects, Leuven, as well as a teaching assistant at the School of Architecture and Design, UACS, Skopje.
